Activities abound with a very active Parks & Recreation run by the City of Durango offering a list of organized activities, classes and leagues for adults as well as youth.

A new addition to Durango is the Durango Community Recreation Center, a 71,557 square foot facility. Amenities include: Aquatics Area, Fitness Area, Aeorbics Room, Gymnasium, Climbing Wall, Raquetball Courts and more.

The Durango/La Plata Senior Center provides activities and services for Durango-area seniors.
